I'm from the beautiful state of Oregon in the USA.
Welcome to my lithium update website. Here I will keep a video update of my ALS condition while taking lithium.

I would like to thank all the great people over at ALSTDI and Patientslikeme for all of their hard work and energy trying to understand and untangle the mystery of this terrible disease that has its grip on all of us.

Also thanks to all in the ALS community who particapate in the forums, sharing their insights, hopes, dreams and experience. Together we have become a driving force that is pushing the scientific and medical community forward.

The idea of keeping track of my lithium trial was inspired by the public input research/study on Lithium and its potential benefits started by Karen Felzer, Michael Harrington and Humberto Macedo ( Humberto-from-brazil ) . Thank you Karen, Michael and Humberto! I would also thank our community member Mikko ( MikeFromFinland ) for having the insight to post a video of his progress on the internet. His "brain child" has sent me on this journey to video my current conditions and then compare my conditions monthly as I try lithium to battle my ALS progression. And of course I thank my wife Kathy, my son Trevor and the rest of my family and friends for their love, support and courage during this difficult time.
